The Farenhyt IDP-HEAT-HT-IV is an intelligent addressable heat detector. It responds at a fixed 190 degrees F (88 degrees C) high temperature. Specifically, the ivory housing suits warm spaces where standard heat detectors would nuisance-trip.
In addition, the detector uses advanced thermistor sensing. As a result, it reacts quickly to genuine thermal events. Also, it reports its address to the panel for precise location.
Where the Farenhyt IDP-HEAT-HT-IV Fits
High-temperature heat detection suits hot environments. For example, mechanical rooms, boiler rooms, and attics work well. Therefore, the fixed 190 degree point reduces false alarms in these areas.
Furthermore, the detector communicates on the Silent Knight SLC. It supports both FlashScan and CLIP protocols. First, set the address with the rotary decimal switches. Then the panel polls and monitors the device.
