The Potter SignaLink Wireless Kit (WSS) is a wireless supervisory bridge. First, it carries dry-contact signals from a remote switch to a fire alarm panel. Then, it does so without running wire to the device location.
In addition, the kit ships as a matched pair. Specifically, the WTX-M transmitter mounts at the switch. Therefore, the WRX-R receiver mounts at the panel.
Where the Potter SignaLink Wireless Kit Helps
The WSS is built for dry-contact switches. Specifically, that includes tamper switches and waterflow switches. Also, the transmitter works with any dry-contact product not listed as explosion proof.
Furthermore, the WRX-R receiver provides a dry-contact output. As a result, the receiver appears to the panel as a standard supervisory input point. Therefore, the WSS works with any fire alarm panel.
