The Siemens RLC-11 is a ceiling-mount remote red LED alarm indicator. It lights when an associated Siemens smoke or heat detector enters alarm. As a result, occupants and technicians see the alarm even when the detector itself is hidden.
The RLC-11 pairs with Siemens conventional detectors such as the PE-11, OP121, and HI121. It is especially useful where detectors sit in concealed or hard-to-see locations. For example, above-ceiling and return-air detector installations benefit from a visible remote indicator.
Siemens RLC-11 Installation
Mount the RLC-11 on a 4-inch octagonal conduit box. The indicator can be installed up to 25 feet from its detector. Wiring uses 14-to-18 gauge wire. Therefore, placement in the most visible spot is flexible.
