RSG RMS-6P-KS DPDT Pull Station with Key Switch

The RSG RMS-6P-KS is a DPDT pigtail-connection pull station with a Key Switch (KS) pre-signal option. Specifically, the KS suffix configures the key switch pre-signal. Furthermore, the DPDT contacts work with conventional and addressable initiating circuits.

First, pulling the lever sends a pre-signal to alert staff. Then, a key turn escalates to general alarm. As a result, the device supports a two-stage evacuation sequence.

However, the panel must be programmed for two-stage operation. Therefore, confirm sequence logic with the AHJ before ordering KS. In addition, train staff on the key procedure during commissioning.

RSG RMS-6P-KS Option Detail

The KS option adds a key-switch second contact for two-stage operation. Furthermore, the DPDT base supports the panel’s general-alarm step. As a result, the station enables an alert-then-evacuate sequence.

Compatible Accessories

For surface mounting, use the RMS-BB indoor back box. Alternatively, use the RMS-DBB deep back box where extra depth is needed. In addition, the RMS-GR glass rod is the standard replacement rod for break-glass operation.
