RSG RMS-6T-KS DPDT Pull Station with Key Switch

The RSG RMS-6T-KS is a DPDT terminal-block pull station with a Key-Switch (KS) pre-signal option. Specifically, the KS suffix adds a keyed switch for two-stage alarm sequencing. Furthermore, the DPDT contacts work with conventional and addressable initiating circuits.

First, the user turns the key to initiate a pre-signal. Then, the control panel must be programmed for two-stage operation. As a result, building staff can investigate before general evacuation.

In addition, the DPDT contacts can drive separate panel inputs simultaneously. However, two-stage logic still belongs at the fire alarm control panel. Therefore, confirm AHJ acceptance and panel programming before specifying.

RSG RMS-6T-KS Option Detail

The KS option adds a keyed switch for pre-signal/two-stage operating sequence. Furthermore, the DPDT switch supports two independent contact circuits. As a result, the station can drive a pre-signal input and a general-alarm input independently.

Compatible Accessories

For surface mounting, use the RMS-BB indoor back box. Alternatively, use the RMS-DBB deep back box where extra depth is needed. In addition, the RMS-GR glass rod is the standard replacement rod for break-glass operation.
