Siemens FJ-303 Remote Firefighters’ Telephone Jack
The Siemens FJ-303 is a remote firefighters’ telephone jack for the Cerberus PRO Modular emergency phone system. Specifically, a firefighter plugs a portable phone into the jack to talk with the command point. As a result, crews can communicate from anywhere in the building.
The jack ties into the building’s emergency telephone network. First, it wires to the Telephone Zone Card (TZC-8B) inside the Cerberus PRO Modular panel. Then, plugging in a portable phone (Model PFT or PFT-P) signals the Firefighters’ Master Telephone. Moreover, there is no limit to the jacks per telephone zone circuit.
Siemens FJ-303 Design and Mounting
The FJ-303 mounts to a single-gang electrical box. In addition, it has flying leads for wiring connections. Furthermore, it carries a red baked-enamel finish with a white, silk-screened telephone handset icon. Also, the plate measures about 4.5″ H x 2.75″ W.
This jack is part number 500-690975. Moreover, it is UL 864 (9th Edition) and CAN/ULC-S576 Listed for emergency communication. Finally, it pairs with portable firefighters’ telephones, which are ordered separately.
