Siemens XTRI-S Single Input Interface Module
The Siemens XTRI-S is a single input interface module for addressable fire alarm systems. Specifically, it monitors one supervised dry-contact input on the addressable loop. As a result, the panel sees that device as an individually identified point.
The XTRI-S is the next-generation version of the TRI-S module. Therefore, it suits Sinteso and current Siemens addressable platforms. In addition, it is the preferred replacement where input-only monitoring is required.
How the Siemens XTRI-S Works
This module connects dry-contact field devices to the addressable network. For example, it monitors waterflow switches, tamper switches, and pull stations. Then, each device reports to the panel as its own point. Furthermore, it works with current Siemens fire alarm control panels. The XTRI-S carries Siemens part number S54370-B3-A1.
