What the Pyrotronics ZU-35 Does
First, the module provides two supervised initiating circuits in a single System 3 slot. Then, each circuit accepts a mix of ionization or photoelectric detectors plus shorting-contact devices. Specifically, pull stations and thermal devices can share a circuit with detectors.
In addition, the ZU-35 supports either NFPA Style D (Class A) or Style B (Class B) wiring. As a result, installers can match the existing System 3 wiring topology without rework.
Alarm Behavior and System 3 Integration
When a device on either circuit activates, the module locks into alarm. Then the System 3 panel runs its programmed sequence. For example, the panel may sound audibles, recall elevators, close doors, or shut down HVAC.
Also, a red Alarm LED and a yellow Trouble LED on the module face show per-circuit status at a glance. Furthermore, the module interconnects to the System 3 rail via a ten-pin plug and harness.

This Pyrotronics ZU-35 is sold reconditioned with a one-year warranty. It is intended for maintaining or repairing existing System 3 installations. Verify the 500-888583 catalog marking on receipt before installation.
