The Simplex 4003-9803 is a supervised remote microphone for Simplex voice control panels. It lets staff make live voice announcements from a remote location. As a result, responders can direct an evacuation away from the main panel.
The unit mounts on a standard two-gang electrical box. In addition, it includes a keyswitch and a ready-to-talk LED indicator. Therefore, the operator knows when the microphone is active.
