The Simplex 4010-9830 is the suppression releasing appliqué kit for 4010 fire alarm control panels. First, the kit converts a standard 4010 FACP to a release-capable platform. In addition, it carries the same appliqué used on the dedicated 4010 Suppression Release Control Unit. Therefore, the 4010-9830 standardizes the operator interface across releasing projects.
Field-Applied Appliqué
The 4010-9830 is field-applied at the panel face. Specifically, it adds the dedicated release controls, key switches, and indicators. As a result, the operator sees release status, abort status, and manual release at a glance. Furthermore, the appliqué follows the layout familiar to suppression service technicians.
Releasing System Role
Combined with the appropriate release peripherals, the 4010 panel actuates extinguishing agents. Then, the panel supervises the actuator wiring per NFPA 72 and NFPA 12 series codes. In addition, the panel manages abort, manual release, and pre-discharge timers in firmware. Therefore, the design suits deluge, preaction, and clean-agent applications.
