The STI STI-LT-1UL is a UL-listed latching and timer module for access control circuits. First, it converts a momentary button into a latching contact. Then, the latch can be reset by a contact closure. As a result, simple push-button hardware can drive longer-duration functions.
STI STI-LT-1UL electrical and timing
First, the module operates on 12 to 24 VAC or VDC. Specifically, the Form C contact is rated 3 A at 30 VDC or 125 VAC. In addition, the digital timer offers 15-, 30-, or 45-second presets, or indefinite latch.
Operating modes and reset
First, the module supports Fail Safe or Fail Secure installation. In addition, the supervised relay drops out when power is removed. Furthermore, a built-in single-passage reset clears the latch after one door open-and-close. Therefore, the timer does not need to expire between uses.
Form factor and listing
First, the board measures 1.3 in. H x 1.75 in. W x 0.65 in. D. As a result, it fits inside a standard handi-box behind a flush-mounted button. Also, a double-sided pad ships with the unit for mounting. The module is listed to UL 294. All operating instructions are printed on the board itself.
