The Wheelock EL3RHS-FW is a NEMA 3R rated outdoor horn strobe. It is part of Eaton’s Eluxa weatherproof notification family. Specifically, this model combines a high-output horn with a clear-lens LED strobe. As a result, it provides audible and visual signaling together. The white housing blends into finished interiors and architectural exteriors.
Weatherproof Design
First, the NEMA 3R / IP54 enclosure resists rain, sleet, and windblown dust. Therefore, it suits covered outdoor and wet indoor areas. In addition, the unit operates from -40°F to 150°F. The UV-stabilized engineered plastic also resists sun fading.
Signaling Performance
The strobe provides six field-selectable candela settings: 15, 30, 75, 110, 150, and 185 cd. Installers set candela on site, so one model covers many layouts. Furthermore, the LED strobe flashes for 20 ms, meeting NFPA 72 timing. The appliance runs on 24 VDC.
