The Siemens ABHW-4S is an intelligent audible sounder base built for sleeping areas. It produces a 520 Hz low-frequency square-wave tone. This frequency meets the latest NFPA 72 requirement for sleeping spaces. As a result, it wakes occupants more effectively than standard high-frequency horns.
The base mounts a compatible Cerberus PRO detector on top. Therefore, one location provides both detection and audible notification. Typical uses include hotels, dormitories, apartments, and healthcare sleeping rooms.
Siemens ABHW-4S Tone and Sound Output
The ABHW-4S delivers up to 85 dBA at 10 feet. Also, it offers a high setting of 85 dB and a low setting of 75 dB. In addition, it supports several field-selectable patterns. These include 520 Hz Steady, Temporal 3, Temporal 4, and Temporal 4 low power. Furthermore, March Time 120 and Canadian March Time 30 are available.
