The Autocall A4090-9002 Relay Module is an Individual Addressable Module (IAM). It gives an Autocall fire alarm control unit one Form C (SPDT) dry contact to control auxiliary equipment.
First, the panel polls the device over the IDNet addressable channel. Then the relay coil pulls in via low-power latching drive. As a result, the panel can switch a remote dry contact and verify the new state through IDNet.
Furthermore, IDNet communication wiring supplies both data and the operating power. Therefore, no separate 24VDC pull is required at the device. In addition, the relay defaults to OFF on initial power-up and on loss of IDNet communications.

The Autocall A4090-9002 and the Simplex 4090-9002 are the same IDNet Relay IAM hardware under two JCI / Tyco brand labels. Therefore, choose by the panel brand on the job: Autocall panels take the A-prefixed part number; Simplex panels take the non-prefixed part number.
