The DSC PC4108 is a MAXSYS 8-zone hardwire zone expansion module. Specifically, it adds eight fully programmable zones to a MAXSYS system. As a result, installers extend coverage without a new panel.
The module connects to the panel over the four-wire Combus. In addition, it draws only 30 mA from the bus.
DSC PC4108 Wiring and Power
Each zone supports normally closed loops and single end-of-line resistors. Furthermore, it supports double end-of-line resistor loops. Therefore, you can match existing zone wiring.
An auxiliary output provides 12 VDC at up to 250 mA. Also, the module reports tampers and supervises the Combus for faults.
