The System Sensor MHW is a SpectrAlert Advance mini-horn in a white housing. It delivers audible fire signaling where a smaller notification appliance is desired. For example, hotels, motels, and residential fire systems are typical applications.
The MHW operates at nominal 12 or 24 volts. It offers high and low volume settings plus temporal or non-temporal tones. A four-position switch selects the pattern and volume. Furthermore, sound output reaches 80 dBA at 24 volts on the non-temporal high setting.
